How come the length new generation of iPOWER power cord is 1.68m? 

Listening tests showed consistently that the best sound quality was obtain from power cord cut to a length of 1.68m, this aligns very closely with the quarter wavelength of 50/60 Hz power frequency of 1.68m (Wavelength of 50/60 Hz power frequency is 22ft <6.7m>. These tests continued and INCRECABLE came to the conclusion that power cord in multiples of 1.68m sounded superior to lenghts than those of slightly above or below. That's why the length of new iPOWER cord begins at 1.68m.

Burn-In Period

All iPOWER power cords have been tested and pre burned-in at the factory. However, as with any high end audio components, it may take up to 50 hours of listening to music to reach the optimal sonic results.
