All eight of World of Warcraft 's original playable races, as well as their counterparts WoTLK Gold, the Draenei and the Blood Elves are set to receive character model overhauls within the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion. It's not clear which races will be available as the expansion goes live at the end of the year. The fact that the updated models include more polygons and animation effects could mean that you'll require an upgraded computer to play World of Warcraft in the future, but Blizzard doesn't know for sure just yet.
Blizzard has released renderings of the updated models of Orcs, Taurens, Draenei as well as Night Elves, as well as the Human female. Robinson also states that Blizzard anticipates that some of these in-progress models to be released during the Warlords of Draenor alpha test "soon."
In other World of Warcraft news, Blizzard recently released blog entries about how to get the Warlords of Draenor starting zone in the Tanaan Jungle. Here's the way Blizzard sets things up:
"In primordial Tanaan the trees have teeth. Darkling fronds stab out at those who have no luck, or cover canyons that plunge miles deep beneath the canopy--and these are far from the jungle's worst dangers. Every day, warlords carved ever more expansive stretches of Tanaan's wilds, hoping to rend the gates of time and space to ensure conquest unending."
Warlords of Draenor can be described as cheap WoTLK Gold fifth expansion, after The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King (2008), Cataclysm (2010) and Mists of Pandaria (2012). It offers an instant player boost to 90. which you can unlock right now by purchasing the expansion in advance. Based on the latest statistics from Blizzard, World of Warcraft has 7.6 million users, ahead of every other subscription-based MMO that's available.
